If your child will turn 5 on or before September 1, 2025, they are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for this upcoming school year (Fall 2025)

• Join us for Kindergarten Round up at Merritt Elementary School on Tuesday, April 15th at 6 pm.

• Pick up an enrollment packet from Merritt Elementary or Central Office after April 15

• Start collecting the following documents. We'll collect these during kindergarten screening and Round Up: 

  • Immunization records

  • Official birth certificate (not a photocopy) 

  • Proof of residency (current gas, water, electric, trash, or tax bill)

• Other forms you might need to complete:

• District Release Form

• Out-of-State Tuition Application--if you don’t live in Michigan

If your child will turn 4 on or before September 1, 2025 but not yet 5, he or she might be eligible for preschool or our Developmental Kindergarten programs. 

• Complete the Preschool/Developmental Kindergarten Eligibility Form.
