The Brandywine Kiddy Cats basketball program started in 2010 and currently has over 90 participants. 

Teams consist of female Brandywine students in grades K-6. The season begins in early October and finishes the week before Thanksgiving break. Teams are split evenly into two divisions.  The K-3 division plays on 8 foot rims and grades 4-6 division plays on the standard 10 foot rims. 

Coaches are volunteers and every participant plays an equal amount of time.  The high school coaching staff and varsity basketball players officiate each game.  Each team has a one hour practice during the week and games are played on Sundays in the B.A.C.C. located at Brandywine High School. 

The goal of this league is to teach fundamentals, have fun, and to help maintain a K-12 girl's basketball program in our school district that is successful each year.
